Teachers and students
from four schools in Washington, DC. and 17 schools from seven African
countries: Botswana, Ghana, Nigeria, South Africa, Uganda, Zambia and
Zimbabwe, participated in curriculum development workshops and exchanges.
Similar to other
Alliance projects, educaotrs and students from nearly 100 countries were
welcomed to participate in online discussions.

Process
Potential participants in the curriculum development workshop
were recruited by project and country coordinators to submit an application
form. Most participants had already been participating in the iEARN
HIV/AIDS Collaborative Learning Project. Project
and country coordinators and American Embassies in participating African
countries will all review the applications.
