What Do You See?

What do you see?
Do you see a grim landscape?
Do you see people hurt by war and conflict?
Do you see blood and tears?

If you do, I feel sad.
Every one should not see this.
Nobody should be hurt.
We should all be at peace.

Yet, we can not let this go by.
There is still hope.
We should work together
For the sake of humanity.

What do I see?
I see a world teeming with joy.
I see a world filled with smiles
I see a world, completed by love.

Tree

Oh great tree!
Where we get every commodity
Why God has created you?
To give us the happiness due!
You give us everything and we take away those things.
Medicines, fruits, flowers and timber.
We give you sorrow
But I am sure we will improve by tomorrow.
Where do we find you?
In forests, in the surroundings and everywhere
You are such an important boon given to us
Of which we make a lot of fuss.
Oh Great Tree!
If I were God, then I would be free,
I would have exchanged everything
Tree as man and man as tree.
Only then man would understand the importance of tree

Apple

Sometimes called as king of fruits
Really a fruit for everyone suits
This hardy apple all over flourishes
From every small mart out it gushes

Glossy red or greenish yellow is its shade
For indigent and opulent it is made
The fruit is notably crisp and juicy
Has a wonderful taste and aroma spicy

Very delicious can be eaten cooked or raw
Surely cannot resist if once saw
Apple juice and cider are drinks appealing
If one drinks these he blithely sings

An apple should be handled with care
And kept neatly to avoid wear and tear
Always remember the proverb to say
An apple a day keeps the doctor away.

Prism

When light from a distant origin
Strikes a collection of water drops
A multicolored arc is about to begin
Making its way through the rain drops.

As soon as the drizzle ends
And the sun shines brightly in the azure
A beautiful rainbow is seen which the God sends
My eyes are lured that’s for sure.

The radiant colours capture my heart
Makes my soul dance with delight.
It becomes infeasible to take my eyes apart
All I can give is a hail to nature to show
Me this incredible sight.

A Funny Dream
Have you ever seen a kangaroo
Walking slowly along the street?
Have you heard a funny doll
Speaking Russian with a ball?

Have you seen a big grey elephant
Dancing on a kitchen table?
Have you met a funny dolphin
Walking slowly along the ocean?

Have seen Australian koala
Sleeping under the snow in Alps?
Have you seen a big tiger
Sitting on a skyscraper?

Have you ever seen a mummy
Dancing on a bed?
Well, I've never seen them
Except when I'm asleep!!!
