Dear Prue,
I guess I agree with your basic premise that humans make
mistakes and that we learn from them.  I think the only way
our opinions may differ is that I would say that our world is
going to do alright eventually.  You seem to believe it
probably won't.  It's a point of disagreement that we (and
others, I'm sure) will never be able to resolve in our time
on earth.
Here's another question about the next millennium;
Through medical advances people are now able to live longer
and there is a far lower infant mortality rate.
Unfortunately, along with this has come a skyrocketing global
population.  It seems inevitable that unless something can be
done, the population will outgrow our world's capacity to
hold it, agreed?   What can be done and how can we do it?
