I think the only way our opinions may differ is that I would say that our world is going to do alright eventually. You seem to believe it probably won't. It's a point of disagreement that we (and others, I'm sure) will never be able to resolve in our time on earth. Here's another question about the next millennium; Through medical advances people are now able to live longer and there is a far lower infant mortality rate. Unfortunately, along with this has come a skyrocketing global population. It seems inevitable that unless something can be done, the population will outgrow our world's capacity to hold it, agreed?
