The Next millennium-Is there likely to be a
leveling out of the standard of living globally, or will
the rich simply get richer and ther poorer?

19 th century, it was the age of Europe. 20 th
century it was the age of America. 21 th century
which is almost coming up it is the age of Asia. The
world keeps improving unceasingly.
In each century, a golden age has been sweeping
across all over the world. As many part of the world
develop and advance, people become more aware of
themselves. Prosperity of individual would lead to an
improvement of their nations. However despite of
such a remarkable growth, majority of the world are
still poor since the poor are not able to survive this
struggle.
Admittedly, success and prosperity are not of
the human drives which every human being desired
for. Probably, there would be not limit for being rich.
In fact developed country keep striving to seek for
more sufficient economic sources. Since they have
already leveled out in their own countries, they begin
to invest in developing countries. By the desire of
being rich drive them to compete each other.
However, the competition will bring more
complexes more problems in those dominated
countries by them. For example, these competition are
not definitely struggle between the rich and the poor
but it would be between the rich among themselves.
Agriculture and unskilled method would be soon
replaced by new technology. Consequently the poor
are still left behind since their income is still very
low(Toffier57).
In fact, great gap between the rich and the poor
is still serious problem in the world. Enormous grape
of people in the Third World still do not have a
chance to get education and other social programs,
they are not capable to improve themselves. Therefor,
number of the poor does not decrease(Bate).
In the next century, more and more marvelous
and remarkable progress will be continuously made.
However, being rich of few people simply leave the
Tired world and any other undeveloped country poor.
