The potential role of the internet in education is that it gives you a large
variety of information and is very easy to use. In this fast pased generation,
that is both very useful and convenient. For example, the internet allows you
to access many topics worldwide enabling you to download pictures, newspaper
articles, maps, diagrams, videos and audio files on a host of topics. Working
on the internet gives you access to information by clicking a button, which
takes a matter of seconds, that would otherwise take hours of flipping through
book and encyclopedias.
Working with technology has prepared me for the future by making me more
comfortable with computers and has expanded my knowledge of the world around me.
In the future, the world is going to depend even more on computer technology
and in order to get a professional job you will need experience working with
them.
My learning has been enhanced by technology because I have been learning much
more since I have been working with technology. This is mostly due to the
fact that looking up infomation on the internet is a much faster process. It is
also more fun. I think that more people should have the opportunity to get
experience and gain knowledge from computer technology because it is, and will,
be very useful for the future of students.
