4. Are there any other ways in which your learning has been enhanced by
technology ?

Computer technology has helped me learn a lot about history. I do not mean basic
state, U. S., and world history that is traditionally taught in schools, but the
histories of nations not normally covered in depth, such as China and Japan.
Through the Internet and, even more basically, the CD-ROM encyclopedia, I have
found much information that I probably would not have found as easily anywhere
else. Even some computer games have given me some information-that is where my
interest in history began. I am not saying that I do not care about the history
of this country, but I think that it is good to know and understand the culture
and the past of other places, and computers are a good place to start.
