From ACES High School: By Paul Quails I think the Internet and the computer in general makes learning a quicker, more efficient process. We spend more time working independantly which helps us in taking responsibility for our own work. We also have access to the most current information available because it is always being updated. I think the Internet is an excellent way of making learning more enjoyable and more effective. Our knowledge of the world has changed because of all the different Internet sights throughout the world. We can contact sights in the Middle East to Australia to Antarctica simply by hitting a few buttons, easily putting the world at the tips of our fingers. I think that working with the technology I have worked with, has prepared me well if I decide to work with computers in my future career. I have learned how to make a multi-media authoring project for childern to help them get interested in learning to read. Iam also currently working on a report on the Sahara desert. Our class is currently receiving E-mail from Bill and Helen Thayer about their trip across the Sahara desert. I think that technology has prepared me well for what ever career I choose. I have a lot more to learn about computers and am now more interested to do this. By the end of my senior year, I feel I will be very prepared for my career.
