Technology's value to me

The capabilities of the internet in education is growing everyday with the
greater technological advancements being developed. The functions of internet
and education join together to create an excellent way for students who might
otherwise not have this oppurtunity to have access to this much knowledge free
of charge.
Traditional classrooms usually provide learning from a text book, which present
information in a pre-formatted, how-to basis. The internet provides hands on
skills on how to find the information you are looking for. I am now learning
about real life situations around the world without having to physically be
there. This shows how the lessons I am learning in my classroom are relevant
to real world situations. This makes my learning more meaningful to me.
The internet has enhanced my learning capabilities by letting me reach out
on-line to different areas of the world. I would not be able to do this with
just a text book. I am able to reach places that I am physically restricted
from visiting and am learning how to reach myself in the process.
