Dear Marjoberth Singca,

Hello, my name is Sean Harrington, and I am a senior at
Cold Spring Harbor High School. I am responding to the
letter you sent to the governors conference. You mentioned
in your letter that you have learned a great deal from you
internet/e-mail experiences. Could you tell me, what
knowledge about current events in the world have you learned?
What topics have you talked about with people from different
countries. Here at our school we have recently talked to
many people all over the world about topics like: national
identity, gay parenting, aliens, the Olympics, heros, and
feminism. Are you interested in any of these subjects?

You also mentioned about how in journalism, and school
publications the internet has helped you. Here at our school
we have two internet related publications. There is The
Contemporary which publishes stories about happenings all
over the world, through the use of the internet, as well as A
Vision, which publishes poetry from kids all over the world.
If you wish, I can send you some copies of these magazines.

Hope to hear from you soon,
Sean Harrington
