STUDENTS: Knowledge of World (r)

By working with on-line educational projects I have been able
to communicate worldwide to obtain information that was useful to me.
I have learned about many current events  which took place in countires such
as Africa. If I was not given the opportunity to work on-line I would
have never recevied the vaulable knowledge which I have gained from
working on-line.


My school is currently publishing a worldwide magazine in which
articles are taken from different countries around the world translated
into english and then published. By using telecommunications technology
we were able to receive these many useful articles and share them with
the world. One specific article about a team of kayakers running the
Nile was very interesting. Students were able to have on-line chats
with the team as they were actually on the Nile. With that oppurtunity
I was able to ask questions as if I was giving them an actual live
interview.
