STUDENTS: Knowledge of World (r)

(written by coldspring@iearn.org, 03/26/1996)

Dear Govenors,
My name s Matt Coneys and I am in the 11th grade at Cold
Spring Harbor High School. I have just recently joined the
I*EARN Holocaust Genocide Project and have been on -lne for
quite a while now.
I am writing to you in response to a list of questions
you sent us about the internet and the use of on-line
informational sources in schools.

Topic 3:

a. How has your knowledge of current or world affairs changed
as a result of working on on-line educational projects?

The internet and working on-line has made it much easier
to fing information on research topics and it has broadened
my understanding of what is going on around the world.
Working on-line, makes it easier to find information on
various topics and in some cases, it even allows me to talk
to the people who experienced an event, like on-line
Holocaust survivors.

I hope I was of help to you. Hope to see you on the
internet. Bye

Matt
