In response to "Knowledge of the World" questions.

Using the Internet/telecommunications has helped me learn to communicate
with,and understand people from all over the world.  I have learned that
I have much in common with people of all ages, races, from all parts of
the world.  In addition, I have learned about world issues from people
on the net that I would never see on TV or hear about in the news.
