If a class wants to publish, we say, "Go for it!" Working on
an e-mail based publications project (called The
Contemporary) has been an extremely valuable experience, and
one in which we feel every student should become involved if
the opportunity presents itself.  Sometimes we take it for
granted, but in our work on TC we can walk right into school
and write to Australia, England, or anywhere in a few
seconds, not to mention the fact that we often get a reply
the same day.  There aren't any barriers restricting us, so
we are fortunate enough to have a free exchange of thoughts,
ideas and opinions daily via e-mail, and to use this
information to put together some fascinating articles for
publication in The Contemporary.
