There were arranged many events on occasion of Olympic Games in Atlanta here in Lithuania. In Vilnius previous Lithuanian Olympic champions have put on symbolic Olympic fire. Later they took part in to Olympic mile crossing with other people. There were
many other events this day. Basketball is very popular in Lithuania. We have Lithuanian basketball league. Some sportsmen from LKL are playing in Europe and NBA leagues. I like basketball very much. I am attending Sarunas Marciulionis sport school. We are
waiting for all our sportsman, especially for basketballists.

I wanted to take pictures from Olympic day in Vilnius. I failed to take picture of putting on symbolic Olympic fire because there were very many people. I photographed shooting from bows, riding, competition of disabled people. Mostly I liked race compet
ition, especially six years old child. Everybody could take part in the race. It was common start of children, adults and old people. I wanted to run with everybody but I had to take pictures. I feel envious for Lithuanian sportsmen for participating in t
he biggest sport event. I would like to take pictures from Atlanta.
