iEARN/Adobe Youth Voices Seminar in Bucharest

December, 12 2011

iEARN-Romania hosted a National iEARN and Adobe Youth Voices Seminar at "Elena Cuza" National College in Bucharest, Romania on December 8th-9th.

The opening ceremony was honoured by the presence of officials from the Ministry of Education, representatives from the City Hall, teachers from school throughout Bucharest, and parents.

In addition, over 80 students joined the session, some of whom screened their own movies, while others watched the media made by their peers in Romania and other countries.

iEARN-Romania Coordinator, Cornelia Platon, introduced the program to the audience in the opening ceremony, noting recognition of Mihaela Runceanu and her students as participants in the 2011 Adobe Summit in California, and to Georgeta Craciunescu, for an upcoming lead educator training in India. Mihaela Runceanu presented her work and experience and provided an overview of the Adobe Youth Voices online course that iEARN facilitates for educators in the Adobe Youth Voices program.
