I*EARN News Flashes!

HIGHLIGHTING I*EARN PROJECTS. I*EARN-US is in the process of redesigning its website to include a different "project feature" on its homepage each month. We want to share the compelling human stories about things that have happened in your schools or communities through your involvement in an I*EARN project. Stories should be between 300-600 words and should include a photograph too. Though all submitted stories may not be used on the site, all stories submitted will become part of an I*EARN stories archive accessible to all I*EARN teachers and coordinators to be used for newsletters, etc. Stories and attached photographs can be e-mailed to <projectstories@us.iearn.org>.

TO ALL WHO ATTENDED THE SMILE TRAIN CLEFT BUDDY WORKSHOP IN BEIJING. Unfortunately, someone left with our address booklet and we have lost all of the names of those interested. Anyone who attended the Smile Train Cleft Buddy presentation in China, please email Michele Sinesky in the USA.

CHILDREN'S RIGHTS IN ARTWORK. (from the materials of the Convention on the Rights of Children). Students become acquainted with the Convention, discuss it, create artwork, posters, comments or essays on the articles and exchange them.
