FOLLOWING
NOVEMBER 2003 MEETING, iEARN COUNTRIES IN EUROPE PLAN THE CREATION
OF iEARN EUROPE. All iEARN members involved
have no intention to create an extra layer or hierarchy between iEARN
International and the individual member countries or representatives
of iEARN, but rather to find out if a possible iEARN Europe contributes
to: better education for students, teachers and schools, in the philosophy
of iEARN;finding existing and/or new resources that will help us
to support: students, teachers, schools, iEARN regional or country
centres, iEARN International. Related to this, iEARN Europe is announcing
a contest for finding a new iEARN Europe Logo. The Tree Is Our Metaphor!
The Logo should reflect the sprit of iEARN Europe as part of iEARN
International, but also the uniqueness of European countries as a
group. Requirements and information: http://194.83.129.224/iearn_europe/.
