LEARNING
CIRCLES 2005 - 2006: Exciting New Improvements!! It
is time to register for the Learning Circles 2005: September to
January Session. In addition to our established themes, this year
the Learning Circles Project is sponsoring a new writing theme
(A Learning World) exclusively for 2005-2006 sessions designed
to explore the theme of the 2006 international iEARN World Conference
and Youth Summit in Enschede, The Netherlands.
Also, we are instituting a new procedures that we believe will
help to encourage and maintain participation. If you want to be

STUDENTS
UNLIMITED: Service Learning is a very important feature of
all iEARN programs in Pakistan. During the summer break in Pakistan,
many
students from Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, Islamabad and Rawalpindi
cities have conducted small projects for helping out in their communities.
They have posted their reports and pictures in the iEARN Interactive
Forums for the Students Unlimited Project. Take a look here. To

FOR iEARN TEACHER PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT ONLINE COURSES NOW! The
Fall 2005 sessions of the iEARN online courses will start in
September 12, 2005. By taking any of the eight online courses
at iEARN, you will learn how to integrate collaborative project-based
learning into your curriculum and fulfill your curriculum standards
using technology. You will learn how to connect your classrooms
with their peers around the world. This is a great chance to
become an active member of the global learning community. The

IEARN MULTIMEDIA GUIDE! A multimedia guide to help teachers
integrate iEARN projects in their curriculum is now available.
Country coordinators and US members will receive it on a CD
with the new project book mailings

iEARN
CURRICULUM ENRICHMENT: iEARN in Pakistan, designed and launched
a series of curriculum specific teacher training programs to be
delivered at day long workshops from August-November 2005. These
are all backed by resource packs for each topic which are collection
of resources required for specific or clusters of iEARN project/s.
