Featured Quote!
"This
project [Breaking Stereotypes Together] is a starting point for
our students and all of us to look at ourselves for a change through
someone else's eyes. I will honestly tell you that that is the
most frightening thing to a human being. On the other hand we are
fortunate enough to know what people think so that we can amicably
correct the stereotypes. What has made me so happy is the fact
that by the end of this project, we shall have each and everyone
who is introduced him/herself in the forum as an ambassador to
the rest of the world. The most important message they will carry
with them is that there are no two people who are the same...If
these ambassadors feel that it is their responsibility to give
information about the countries they know the truth about then
it will multiply. Just like a negative stereotype multiplies also
the truth will multiply and hopefully we shall succeed in Breaking
Stereotypes Together.".
-
Eddie Kigozi (Uganda), on working with students in the Breaking
Stereotypes Together Project.
Eddie is a French Language Teacher and Educator in the use of ICT
in the Classroom, currently serving as a volunteer with iEARN-India
