iEARN-ARGENTINA (TELAR, FUNDACION EVOLUCION) PRAISED FOR LEADERSHIP
IN PEER COACHING
PROGRAM. From the Puget Sound Center
for Teaching, Learning and Technology, July 2006 newsletter: "In
the growing community of Peer Coaching programs around the world,
the PSCTLT project in Argentina is particularly notable because of
the strength of our partnership with a world-renowned local agency,
Fundacion Evolucion, which has received international recognition
for success with education networks, distance learning, and community-based
schooling. The team from the Fundacion was led by Rosy Aguila, one
of the founding members of the world-wide iEARN network. The stature
and respect afforded Fundacion Evolucion was evidenced during the
Peer Coaching training, when Executive Director Paula Perez returned
from Stockholm bearing a Special Mention prize from the global Stockholm
Challenge for ICT in Education...Paula was welcomed with a standing
ovation by the Peer Coaching participants, demonstrating the love
and respect that the Fundacion Evolucion team has earned for their
years of outstanding work in Argentina and the world. The PSCTLT-Fundacion
Evolucion partnership is a bright example of how like-minded educators
around the world can support each other for the good of children
and society. It is a pleasure and privilege for PSCTLT to be a part
of such work."For more, see here.
