iEARN in Action, December 14, 2006

"I wished to let you know the wonderful result of the Teddy Bear project at a personal level for me. At the time, I was teaching at Strathmore Primary School in Melbourne when I joined my class up in this exciting new project. I think it was 1997. We were matched up with a school in Skofca Loka in Slovenia - a grade 4 class. My husband, friends and I also visited the school and I was interviewed on the local radio station about the project. I fell in love with Slovenia.... I can't tell you how much that project has enriched my life and the lives of others, even in an indirect way. I thought Muriel Wells would like to read this and to receive my thanks for a job so well done."

- Glenice Paulsen, Melbourne, Australia to Muriel Wells, creator of the Teddy Bear Project.
