6. HOW
DO YOU DEFINE GLOBAL CITIZENSHIP? Dear friends, My name
is Dmitry Savelau and I represent iEARN-Belarus and
Youth International Education Club "NEWLINE".
This Wednesday we're going to have a workshop for CIVICUS Youth
Assembly (May 21-23) in Glasgow, Scotland. The workshop title
is - Global and Active Citizenship. We would like to ask you to
make your unique contribution to the work of the workshop and the
work of the whole Assembly, by sending greetings, but also by answering
one of the tricky questions, we'll be trying to answer on Wednesday:
-Who is a global citizen? (or what is global citizenship?), - What
is an active citizen? (or what is active citizenship?), and - What
skills both (or separately) these two citizenships require? All
your contributions will be extremely needed within our work!! We
will be publishing the outcomes this meeting either virtually or
in hard copy. Let young leaders know what global community thinks!
See the Teachers
Forum, or email Dmitry directly.
