2. DANISH HIGH SCHOOL SEEKING PARTNER IN USA. Danish High School in Svendborg is looking for a partner school in USA, preferably NYC. My students are ages 15-19, and they are fluent in English. We read English and American literature (unabridged, among others Paul Auster, Amy Tan, Alice Walker), as well as articles on contemporary issues such as politics, environment and culture. We are involved in a number of international projects, some of them supported by European Union. In one of our recent projects, we cooperated with eight other European schools using various web 2.0 -tools to communicate on issues of climate change and intercultural dialogue. We are open to any ideas for cooperation. Our school's homepage: http://www.svendborg-gym.dk Contact Elzbieta Pedersen.
