iEARN in Action! December 14, 2000
iEARN-USA LAUNCHES
NEW WEBSITE!
In addition to a new design, http://www.iearn.org
includes new resources. If you work in a language other than English,
we want to include your www site or discussion forum under the "Language
Resource Page." We hope you will tell us if there are problems with
any of the new pages, so we can correct them.
If you read the
iEARN discussion forums via the WWW or via an offline news reader
(Free Agent, Netscape, Outlook Express, etc), there is now a new server:
* For WWW access:
http://foro.iearn.org
If you have "registered"
already, continue to use the same User Name and Password that you
created.
* If you read
the discussion groups via a browser or off-line news newsreader, change
the address:
OLD: news.igc.apc.org
or forum.igc.apc.org
NEW: foro.iearn.org
You too will need
to "register" the first time you visit the new server. At: http://www.iearn.org
click on "register as iEARN member." On the Registration Page, enter
the account and password you have been given. Create
a User Name (your real name) and enter your e-mail address. To enter
the discussion groups you will need to use your individualized "User
Name" and password. Multiple teachers and students at each school
can "register" separate User Names with the same account.
If you have any
trouble accessing the discussions (User Name or password not working,
etc) please contact us at support@us.iearn.org.
