GEMS
PROGRAM UPDATE. During February and March 2001, a number
of Internet Learning Centers (ILCs) were installed in the GEMS countries.
Teachers and students have been trained and GEMS schools' web sites

CREATING
CROSSWORD PUZZLES IN ENGLISH.
The aim of the project: To practice the vocabulary at a certain language
level and to create a booklet usable in English teaching. People willing
to participate in this project may obtain more information from WWW
pages of Czech I*EARN http://www.iearn.cz/krizovky
or they may write an e-mail to the coordinator of this project- Elena
Tomanova.
LEWIN
- AN ANTHOLOGY OF STUDENT WRITING.
Would you like your students to contribute to Lewin 2001? Writing
can be about any topic and in any format. Contributions can be sent
to the conference, iearn.lewin or emailed to lewin@iearn.org.au.
All contributing schools will receive copies of Lewin when it is published.
The deadline for contributions is July 2001 We would love to have
some writing from your students! Lewin lewin@iearn.org.au.
VALUE
OF MONEY PROJECT.
Started and moderated by a team of young people from India and Bulgaria
in the age group 16 - 18 yrs. The Aim of this project is to help people
