PROJECTS RECOGNIZED AT CABLE AND WIRELESS INTERNATIONAL CHILDNET AWARDS.
The ChildNet awards go to projects that make the Internet a better
place for children. I*EARN - CANADA was recognized for The Bullying
Project, www.bullying.org, and The Smile Train - USA was recognized
for the Cleft Buddy Project both in the charity/not for profit section,
Bela 3rd Grammar School was recognized in the school category, and
Maria Monica Dumitru-Nistor in the individual category. Congratulations

POSTAL SERVICE FEATURES STAMP WITH FIRST PEOPLES' PROJECT ARTWORK.
Australia Post (The Australian national postal service) released a
prepaid stamped envelope series featuring art work of Australian participants

CHILD
LABOR PROJECT.
I*EARN members are urged to support the efforts of the students and
teachers of Warren Middle and Central Schools in their Proclamation
on child labor and their efforts to provide education opportunities
for child laborers through the Free the Children organization. Warren's
efforts, part of the I*EARN Fight Against Child Labour Project, consist
of the adoption of a Proclamation on Child Labor by their local authority,
the Township of Warren, and the raising of funds to create/support
schools. For more details and for advice on how your school and community

VALUE
OF MONEY PROJECT.
Started and moderated by a team of young people ages 16-18 from India
and Bulgaria, Sri Lanka. The aim of this project is to help young
