The Wife of the American Ambassador Visits 91 GLHS

Mrs. Sharon Miles- the wife of the American Ambassador in Bulgaria- responded to the invitation of 91 GLHS and visited the high school on 15 November within the International Education Week (13-18 Nov.). She spoke with the school authorities and facility, looked around the building and attended an English language lesson in the 10th grader in the Computer Lab. There the students from 10E class, who are the principal coordinators of the Dream School Project, worked on it. In this Internet-based project the students exchange their ideas, essays and letters with peers from the USA and 17 other countries. The project's Web page is a place for telecommunacational education with the help of two writing straregies from the RWCT Program ( Reading and Writing Critical Thinking), as well as for discussion on school topics in the I*EARN network.
