iEARN-Oman Educators and Omani Reporters Attend Journalism Training. Northwestern University in Doha, Qatar, June 7-18, 2009.

The teachers and journalists will work together to mentor students and produce news publications as part of the MEPI High School Journalism Education Program.

yemeniEARN-Yemen hosts Global Connection & Exchange Program Workshops, February 9-10 & 18-19, 2009.

Workshops took place in two cities, Sana'a and Aden, and involved 40 teachers and 39 students from 4 schools. The workshops were supervised by SOUL organization for women and children development.


kenyaiEARN-Kenya Workshop, January 27-29, 2009.

A 3-day workshop was held for 17 educators from around Kenya in the ICT Center at the Chiromo Campus of the University of Nairobi. Farah Kamal, iEARN-Pakistan Country Coordinator, traveled to Kenya to help facilitate the workshop. Meet them in the Teachers Forum


indiaiEARN-India Workshops, January 20-29, 2009.

Judy Huynh (USA) and iEARN-India Coordinator, Dr. Sunita Bhagwat, conducted workshops in Patna from January 20 - 22, and in Kolkata from January 27 - 29.

 


MEARN'S (iEARN-Morocco) Fourth National Forum: Dakhla, Morocco, January 23-28, 2009.

Youth Journalism Workshop Hosted for iEARN Students in Palestine, January 22, 2009.

22 students from different high schools around the West Bank participated in a journalism training with facilitators from the Ministry of Education and Al Jazeera. The session focused on bringing the students into the iEARN PEARL Project. Learn more about PEARL.
