Description: The purpose of the Smile Train Cleft Buddy Project is to create understanding, acceptance and tolerance toward children who suffer from cleft lips and palates, a birth defect affecting millions of children worldwide. Contact the project facilitator for information on how to participate in this project via e-mail if you are not a member of I*EARN. We want EVERYONE involved in this project!
Ages: Students aged 5 and higher are encouraged to participate.
Languages: All. Schools will be paired based on language compatibility.
Dates: Ongoing. Several Smile Train Cleft Buddy project participants will be sponsored to present at the annual I*EARN Conference in Beijing in July 2000..
