In 1997 I*EARN-USA developed two professional development modules for the World Bank school linking program called "WorLD" (World Links for Development).
The modules, titled "It Takes a Many Villages to Build a World: Honoring People and Learning," are designed for use in workshops with primary and secondary school educators who are seeking to integrate telecommunications technology into their classrooms -- anywhere in the world.
Module 1: A three-day introduction to telecommunications technologies in the education field and to global project work:
