Hi dear friends,

I'm looking for partners to start up the "Social Networks" project, please feel free to add any comments, suggestions or questions.

1. Name of Project: Social Networks
2. Brief one-sentence description of project: Gossip about celebrities on Social Networks
3. Full description of project: Peopel like talking about celebrities news especially teenagers. In       this project students will take part in a role playing game in which a celebrity couple are           interviewed by a journalist. They will spend one month to create their own Gossip Celebrity E-Magazine.
4. Age/level of project participants: Teenagers
5. Timetable/Schedule for the project: May / 4 weeks
6. Possible project/classroom activities (describe possible classroom activities and collaborative/interactive activities between participating classes around the world):

Week I: Introduction
In the first week, students introduce themselves to each other and talk about their favourite actors, actresses, football players, singers, etc. the will also talk about how much time they spend on the net and wheteher they find Social Networks like Facebook, Twitter, WhatssApp, Vibre, Instagram ... helpful to get news about their favourite celebrities.

Week II: Discussion
During the second week, students talk about celebrity couples and the latest celebrity gossip they heard about from Social Networks. They will talk about the following details:
   - Who is the celebrity?
   - What happened exactely?
   - Into what extent this problem affected his/her life (their lives) ?
   - Was the problem solved? if yes, how?
   - Did their family accepted the new situation?
   - How did the fans received the news?
   - How did the celebrity reacted over the problem?

Week III: Role play and video conferencing
All students from different countries will participate virtually on a role play using video conference via Google Hangouts. They will be devided into three groups: A, B and C. They first choose one of the celebrity couples discussed on week II. Students imagine that they are taking part in a Gossip TV show like "The Insider".

*In the first stage, only one students from each group will participate(A,B and C)

_ Student A plays the role of the TV show presnter. He/she prepares some questions to ask for      the celebrity guests. Taking into considiration that a lot of peopel are watching the show,  questions should be original and tackle the rumours politely.

_ Student B plays the role of the celebrity victim whose life has been probably ruined by the  problem. She/ he prepares herself/himslef for the question the jounalist is going to ask. Being  famous means that a lot of fans will be watching, so the answers should give a good model by  saying the right thing to say ( know what to say and what not to asay)

_ Student C plays the role of the celebrity who caused the problem. She/he thinks of the  questions the journalist is going to ask, explains the situation and provides explanations to find a  soultion to the problem..

* The role play should be video taped and all tracks can be gathered in one final video so that we  can creat our final product "iEARN Gossip TV Show"

*In order not to repeat the same role play, students will choose a new celebrety couple each time  we start a new episod of the Show.

Week IV: Writing reports for an E-magazine.
Students from each country should collaborate to write a report for the E-magazine using the information from the TV Show role play. They will also display the reports on the project folder so that students can read and comment on each other’s work. They can follow this frame:

Introduction: Main ideas, iEARN Gossip TV Shwo, characters, time, place etc

Paragraph 1: Introducing the content of the TV Show, what happened during the interviwe?                               were there any events worth mentioning?
