We believe that all "special needs" kids have special abilities waiting to be nurtured that will contribute to success in life.

Through this iEARN group we hope to expand the community of teachers, parents, and others interested in sharing resources designed to discover and develop the special abilities of these students. We invite you to use this forum to share tools and resources for families and educators with special abilities kids.

For example, you can share stories about these kids that have inspired you, didactic materials, technology tools, or strategies for using art, music, and literature to develop special abilities.  In addition, we hope that iEARN teachers and parents will be inspired to create new collaborative projects. These projects might invite special abilities students to participate or they might promote awareness in the broader educational community of the special abilities to be found in special needs youth.
