Title: Global Issues: The Environment Learning Circle 1 (High School) - Teachers

Summary

This theme is based on current global concerns regarding the environment. Students will hold discussions and sponsor projects that investigate various environmental issues and concerns.

Description

Projects for Global Issues: the Environment should focus on current global concerns and issues.  A partial list would include, but is not limited to: Climate change, conservation, energy, environmental degradation, environmental health, genetic engineering, intensive farming, land use, nuclear issues, overpopulation, ozone depletion, pollution,, reservoirs, resource depletion, toxins, and waste.  Each school will sponsor an individual project and seek collaborative input from other schools in the Circle.  The final project will be an online compilation of all the sponsored projects.
