Hello World Learning Circle 1 (Elementary/Middle School) - Teachers

Hello World: Learning Circles are for teachers and students who have never participated in a Learning Circle.  This 5-week experience will introduce teachers and students to the basics of Learning Circles including Teacher Introductions, Class Surveys, and the Exchange of Information.  If you have never participated in a Learning Circle before and you would like to know what it is like, this is the place to begin your Learning Circle experience.

The timeline will be:
Prior to Week 1: Teachers will be provided with information about the iEARN Collaboration Centre and ways to prepare their classes by email
Week 1 - Teacher Introductions
Week 2 - Student Introductions
Week 3 - Classes will post a question about school, community, or culture that they would like the other classrooms to respond to
Week 4 - Classes will answer each other’s questions and post responses online
Week 5 - Students and teachers say goodbye and close the Circle
