Fourth Empower Youth Conference 2012 in Qatar, April 19-21

The Fourth Empower Youth Conference 2012 on Leadership, Service Learning and Global Citizenship organised by Reach Out to Asia (ROTA) took place from April 19-21 in Doha, Qatar.

Around 350 youth activists and community leaders of the future attended what has been described as Qatar’s largest annual youth gathering. The three-day event focused on the Arabic language, sports, skills development and the environment. 

As reported in the Gulf Times - "as well as an excellent opportunity for other regions to learn from our best practices, Empower 2012 gives Qatari youth the chance to interact with youth from around the world in preparation for the 2013 iEARN Annual Conference and the Youth Summit being hosted by ROTA in July next year.”  (see more about iEARN-Qatar)
