Global Collaboration Day

Students, teachers, and organizations will get online to celebrate global collaboration on September 17th, 2015. On this day (and beyond), experienced global educators and other professionals will host connective projects and events and invite public participation.

The primary goals of this whole day event are to demonstrate the power of global connectivity in classrooms, schools, institutions of informal learning and universities around the world, and to introduce others to the tools, resources, projects, and networks that are available to educators today.

iEARN participants are encouraged to join in Global Collaboration Day and show the world what connected learning looks like around the clock on September 17th!

iEARN-related events include:

  • Global Collaboration Meets Project-Based Learning, Hosted by Bridget Stout, USA. Join us to explore the online iEARN Collaboration Centre where teachers and students from 140+ countries are connecting through Project-Based Learning.
  • A Global Education Gateway, Hosted by Eliane Metni, Lebanon. Join a lively meeting at IEA where we will explore how you can address the Global Goals for Sustainable Development through iEARN projects and GTP Learning Circles.
  • Bilingual ACCESS-STEAM Cubs in the MENA Region: An introduction, Hosted by Marouane El Baida, Morocco. Our goal is to prepare the "bilingual access-steammists" of the future who will have skills for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math related careers.
