iEARN-Egypt's 7th Annual Local Conference 2011

On Saturday 9th April 2011, iEARN-Egypt organized its 7th local annual conference at Future Tech schools, Sheraton Heliopolis. Around 150 iEARN school students, Alumni and university students from Cairo, Giza, Alexandria, Monefia and Mansoura shared in the conference events.

The conference keynote note speakers were addressed by Dr Khawla Mattar, Director of UNIC and Dr Hazem Fahmy, Assistant. Director of CARE Egypt.

The students presented their projects in about 20 presentations. iEARN-Egypt’s students have worked on three main projects; YouthCaN, MDGs and Students Unlimited. 

The activities included a theater show, video conference with YouthCaN USA, motivational and team work games, and live discussion about the current situation in Egypt.
