iEARN-Taiwan Local Youth Representative (LYR) Search Underway

On August 27th, 10 youth with leadership experience from universities around Taiwan participated in a recruitment orientation for the 5th Local Youth Representative (LYR) of iEARN-Taiwan.

With the full support from Mr. Sam Wu, Chief of Youth Division of iEARN-Taiwan, Vinny Tsao (the current LYR) gave a touching and inspiring presentation on her life-changing experience working as LYR of iEARN-Taiwan and further she became one of the members of Youth Facilitator Group (YFG) and was awarded an iEARN scholarship to join the 2015 iEARN Conference in Brazil.

To extend the youth voice in Taiwan and iEARN, iEARN-Taiwan calls for two LYR who are active, team players, willing to work, and have strong cooperation, collaboration and communication skills. This new 2-year-term position is open for all the university students in Taiwan. Intensive capacity training and a range of tasks are ready for the new LYR. After candidates submit applications and undergo online interviews, the new LYR will be announced in mid-September.
