iEARN-Yemen hosts “Youth Learning for Responsible Citizenship” Workshop

From February 22-26, 2014, SOUL, which runs iEARN-Yemen, conducted workshop in Hadhramout - Sayuon as part of the “Youth Learning for Responsible Citizenship” Project, supported by US Embassy.

Two teachers and five students from five schools were trained on essential life skills, conflict resolution, community-based project design and management, peer education, and how to utilize these skills to work in collaboration in iEARN.

All participants became members of iEARN and collaborated with their peers who joined iEARN in previous years. Moreover, the 5 participating schools produced five community-based project proposals which they will implement in the coming three months and will post them on iEARN's Collaboration Centre.
