Learning for Active Citizenship Workshop

On March 8, 2012, iEARN-Yemen will be completing its final day of a training workshop in Sana'a - the fourth training workshop out of five that has been completed as part of the "Learning for Active Citizenship" Project.

This workshop targeted 15 Orphans and 4 supervisors from Insan for Development as well as 10 students and 4 teachers from girls schools. It was a 5-day workshop in which participants were trained on Essential Life Skills, Community-based project Design and Management, and iEARN. In the coming months, participants will be producing 7 community-based projects, which will be presented in Sana'a's Open Day next Summer.

The Learning for Active Citizenship program is made possible through funding from the U.S. Embassy in Yemen.
