New iEARN Collaboration Centre Coming in August!
iEARN-USA, which hosts the global iEARN Collaboration Centre, has been working hard to maintain and evolve the platform that serves the iEARN network of educators and youth in over 130 countries. We are excited to announce that we are planning to launch a new iEARN Collaboration Centre in August!
iEARN participants are encouraged to take note of these dates, as they relate to access to registration, mailing lists, and posting of content on the current platform.
- June 25 - Registration page on the current Collaboration Centre (media.iearn.org) will be de-activated. The Collaboration Centre will still be available after this date, but no new registrations can be made on the site.
- July 27 - Current Collaboration Centre will become "read-only," meaning content will be accessible, but no new posts can be made. iEARN's associated forum mailing lists will be de-activated.
- August 5-10 - Launch of new Collaboration Centre (collaborate.iearn.org). Users will be able to log in to the new Collaboration Centre with their existing iEARN login and password, and will be able to continue accessing the current Collaboration Centre as a "read-only" site.
Please note that the timeline above means that no new registrations can be made on the iEARN Collaboration Centre between June 25 - August 4. If you are planning any workshops or events that involve new participants, please be sure to complete registrations before June 25. After this date, the current Collaboration Centre will still be functional until July 27, at which point it will be made "read only" as we transition users to the new platform.
