The Third Espurn@ Conference (Creativity in the Classroom for an Inclusive Networked School)

The Third Espurn@ Conference (Creativity in the Classroom for an Inclusive Networked School) was held in Manresa (Barcelona) on April 2 with a high participation (250 teachers).  See the assessment that has been made by Ramon Barlam from his blog "Arran de pupitre."

"Espurna" (www.espurna.cat) is an iEARN-Pangea project targeted to students risking exclusion.  The lecture was given by Jordi Adell on the first steps to make grow our Personal Learning Environments (PLE). Apart from some very interesting workshops and experiences the conference also presented Espurnik, a 3D environment for educational uses (based upon OpenSIM), and a curious experience in augmented reality: the participants could see with their identification card a plan of the building in 3D through a Webcam located at the entrance (see image at left).

See a photo album of the conference, and a Ramon Barlam video uploaded on Ning.
