Youth journalism in Kuwait

Students from Al Bayan, American Bilingual, Fatima Alsarawi, Maria Alqobtia and Salah El-Deen schools in Kuwait are reporting stories for the MEPI High School Journalism project and World Youth News.

They are also participating in many activities, including TV interviews, newspaper visits and meetings with U.S. Embassy and MEPI (Middle East Partnership Initiative) guests.

Check out their photos and take a look at their blogs and schools newspapers on the World Youth News website.

The MEPI High School Journalism Education Program is a two-year initiative coordinated by iEARN-USA, iEARN-Oman, and iEARN-Kuwait that builds partnerships between local news organizations and secondary schools to support print and/or online school newspapers in Kuwait and Oman. Students and educators receive training in multimedia reporting based on the principles of independent and ethical journalism.
