Adobe Youth Voices Live - Kampala Event

Congratulations to the iEARN/SchoolNet Uganda Adobe Youth Voices team for successfully hosting the first ever Adobe Youth Voices Live-Kampala Event on June 24, 2012.

In attendance were over 200 Adobe Youth Voices youth participants from Gayaza High School the Host Site, St Henry’s College Kitovu, PMM Girls School, Kampabits Digital Design School, SchoolNet Uganda, Shadow Idol Club from Jinja, and Guests from other organizations and representatives from the press.

As one of the organizers, Henry Sempangi Sanyulye, reported, "the celebration was full of Dance, Music, Inspirational, thought-provoking films and colorful, meaningful designs produced by young people through Adobe Youth Voices all over the country."

Adobe Youth Voices is Adobe's global philanthropic initiative that empowers youth worldwide to comment on their world using multimedia and digital tools to communicate and share their ideas, demonstrate their potential, and take action in their communities.  iEARN is one of five founding non-profit partners that helped to launch the Adobe Youth Voices program in 2006, and is currently administering Adobe Youth Voices programs 23 countries.
