May-June "Our Story Book" Challenge

Our story book is a project to collect different ideas from diverse cultures and countries to complete one amazing story. Youth iEARNers can contribute their ideas to the story, and also learn from others' opinion.

Goal: The objective of the project is to support student learning through collaboration and to combine creative ideas from all over the world.

Time: From May to June, 2015
- Each participant has one week to write the story.
- The whole process is about 1.5 to 2 months.
- When the story is completed, it has passed to 7 to 9 countries.
- Project coordinator will help deliver the story to the next author.

After participants discuss the possible topics, like a relay race, the first participant accepts the challenge to write the beginning of the story; the second participant continues the following part, and then passes it to the third participant to continue, and then passes to the next one, and so on.

Method: Each participant can create two pages of the story including words and images (by painting or drawing or any other way of creating images). Once participants finish their part, they then scan or take pictures of their two pages and send them to [email protected]. Project coordinators will help deliver the story.

Who can apply?
- All youth iEARNers who are interested in story can apply for the project.
- Individual or team is acceptable.
- Fill in the application form https://goo.gl/Kvmedk and wait for the confirmation e-mail to start writing ‘’Our story’’.

Exhibition: After the ‘’Our story book’’ is completed, there will have an online exhibition on the iEARN website and a print out will be displayed at the 2015 iEARN Conference and Youth Summit in Brazil, July 26-31.
