Read the latest blog post by Sher Bano, YES student from Pakistan writing about teenage life in Pakistan in Nicholas Kristoff's On the Ground New York Times blog series: "Report From a Pashtun Teen: Cricket, Diplomacy and Hope," May 13, 2011. The Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange and Study (YES) Program was established in October, 2002 to provide scholarships for high school students (15-17 years) to spend up to one academic year in the U.S. iEARN manages YES programs in several countries, including Pakistan.
