Connecting Teachers, Connecting Classrooms

iEARN-USA and Partners of the Americas are hosting a special training course and virtual exchange for teachers in the Americas to connect and collaborate with one another and build skills for online education and exchange. In this initiative, teachers will learn about global project-based learning and online collaboration with iEARN, participate in an introductory, “Hello, World” virtual exchange project with their students, and prepare to participate in a virtual exchange project with their class. Teachers will collaborate with other teachers from the Americas. .

The Connecting Teachers, Connecting Classrooms initiative will  create a professional learning group of teachers across the Americas, provide support, and guide teachers in integrating virtual exchange projects into their curriculum. When teachers meet, connect, and learn from others in the network, they become engaged in a community of changemakers who support one another in helping their students understand both their own and other cultures while actively making a positive difference in the world. We hope you join us in a fun and hands-on learning experience!
