eLearning Africa 2015

Co-organised by the African Union and hosted by the Government of Ethiopia, eLearning Africa 2015 will bring together professionals, policymakers and practitioners involved in designing, implementing, providing, financing, supporting, certifying and managing learning in Africa, for a unique discussion about technology and learning.

eLearning Africa 2015 will take place in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia from May 20-22.  In addition to keynote, workshop and panel discussions from attendees from around the world, the event will include a number of presentations from educators involved in both iEARN and the Adobe Youth Voices program as part of iEARN/SchoolNet-Uganda.  These sessions include:

  • Theode Niyirinda, Gayaza High School, Uganda - Role of Students as a Media Tech Support: A Case Study of Gayaza High School.
  • Alex Okwaput, KampaBits, Uganda - Leveraging Technology to Enhance Employability of Vulnerable Youth.
  • Ronald Ddungu, Gayaza High School, Uganda - Closing the Gap Between Schooling and Community Development Through ICTs.
  • Samuel Kizito Sempiri, Ministry of Education, Gayaza High School, Uganda - Taking on Multimedia Project-Based Learning.
  • Chole Richard, PMM Girls’ School, Uganda - Digital Content Creation for Learning Purposes in Sciences Using Project Based Learning Concepts.
  • Martin Kizito, Kampala International School, Uganda - Classroom Without Boundaries: Case Study Kampala International School Uganda.
