iEARN Global Art Exhibition

The iEARN Global Art Exhibition invites iEARN members around the world to produce artwork that delivers a message based on their ideas of caring and share it with friends globally.

Students are also invited to take digital photographs that show what they care about and how they care for one another and other living things in their schools, families, communities and the world.

Deadline for submissions is April 10th.

Ideas for Caring for Exhibition:

I am caring because…

  • I treat people with kindness and generosity
  • I am not insensitive to pets/animals
  • I am charitable
  • I try to benefit others
  • I am responsive to concerns of others
  • I talk to people to let them know I care
  • I protect earth by saving water or planting trees
  • I care for senior citizens and the physically disabled

Rules:

  • Art work or photographs should be on any of the above mentioned ideas of caring.
  • Dimension should be 1024 x 768 pixels and 72 DPI.
  • Files must be JPEG.
  • Keep High resolution version with you. If your media gets selected media will be requested to provide high resolution versions.
  • Each artwork should include the participant’s name, age, school and grade on the bottom right corner.
  • The photographs/artwork should deliver a message and reflect a concept and purpose.
  • For Pakistani participants, hard copies must be submitted to iEARN Centre at this address: iEARN Centre, 88-H, Block 6, PECHS, Karachi 75400
  • Submission accepted on A3, A4 size canvas, paper, or any other material utilizing all medium including oil, pencil, pastels or water color

- The digital copy of art work should be posted in iEARN Global Art project forum.

Deadline for submission:

10th April 2015

By submitting your entry, you admit that you are the only and rightful owner of the entry.

Any submission that does not respect these rules will not be considered.

Benefits for students:

  • Best artwork/photos will be exhibited in upcoming SIE event ‘Teaching Digital Natives’ Conference.
  • Participating students will be given certificates.
  • Online Gallery of student artwork/photos will also be created for global audience.
