Online Course: Planning a Global Collaborative Project for your Classroom

This four week course will show teachers how to plan and implement an online collaborative project with their students in the upcoming school year. This asynschronous online course begins with an overview of project-based learning, then facilitators will help you select and plan a lesson/s for an iEARN project that fits your curriculum needs. The course will have up to 30 educators from the US and around the world and includes two live conferencing sessions, one coinciding with the iEARN International Teacher Conference in Taiwan www.iearn2011.org

This course is open to educators of all grade levels. iEARN-USA has sixteen International teacher online course scholarships for the four week online course starting July 8th, 2011

Participants will need to be recommended by their iEARN Country Coordinator or Contact Person.

Register by July 1.  Course dates: July 8th - August 10th, 2011. 

Update: Courses have started. There are two sessions. Total participants - 55 participants: Algeria 2, Bangladesh 1, Indonesia 1, Kenya 2, Morocco 3, Oman 2, Uganda 1, Ukraine 1; USA 40.
